Description
An open reading group that meets once a month in New York at bars and bookstores. Despite having ‘reading’ in our name, we discuss films, art, cultural criticism… anything that begs to be analyzed, turned over, and dissected. Our group meets monthly. Each session is hosted by a member.

A good story is like a mirror. You peer in, it reveals what it will to you, privately. But it leaves you wondering: did others see what I saw, in that same reflection?
Office Hours is my attempt at bringing people together to answer this. To share what they see in the reflection of a story, if nothing but for the pure joy of having experienced it, also.
Let’s think, feel, and react together. Let’s inquire, and change our minds. I hope to see you there.
How it works
- Once a month, 6 to 8 in the evening, at a bar or a bookstore. The place changes; it's on the front page.
- A member hosts.
- RSVP on the front page. Bring a friend.
- Venues usually ask for a drink minimum. If that's a hardship and you'd still like to join, shoot us a message on Instagram.
